Long-term partnership between LINDA pharmacies and PAYBACK loyalty programme
The successful partnership between LINDA pharmacies and the market-leading PAYBACK loyalty programme is to continue in the long term. The partnership, which began three years ago, has now been extended indefinitely. “PAYBACK has met all of our expectations. It is a hugely important and innovative tool for acquiring customers and increasing customer loyalty,” says Wolfgang Simons, President of the Marketing Association of German Pharmacists (MVDA e.V.) which created the “LINDA” umbrella brand of pharmacies. “Sales growth among the pharmacies taking part in the PAYBACK programme outstrips the market average.”
In the more than 1,400 pharmacies trading under the LINDA umbrella brand, customers are awarded points for all purchases of prescription goods, over-the-counter medicines and other products normally sold in pharmacies. The customer obtains a point for every euro spent. “Pharmacies will enjoy more frequent visits from their customers and more satisfied customers. One of the key factors is PAYBACK’s extensive partner portfolio including many well-known companies from whom customers can collect PAYBACK points,” says Simons.
“Our partnership with LINDA helps consumers save on health costs, too,” says Bernhard Brugger, Member of the PAYBACK Board of Management and head of PAYBACK Partner Management. “LINDA’s decision to extend the contract indefinitely is testimony both to their confidence in our programme and the expectation that they will be able to further increase added value for their customers.”
