Within PAYBACK, Operations handles a wide range of customer-focused responsibilities: from managing customer service vendors, to producing loyalty cards to sending out billions of direct marketing pieces every year. Our key strengths are Third Party Management, ensuring efficient processes and realizing synergies across markets while handling high volumes. Operations reports directly to our mother company American Express while also being a close partner to the local PAYBACK business teams.
  • Project management and support of strategic projects with cross-country relevance or relevance for local PAYBACK markets (Germany, Poland, India, Mexico, Italy and Austria)
  • Business development: support local Operations teams in expanding the services to new markets
  • Stay on top of innovations and trends regarding Operations services. Be in charge of pilots for new technologies, if applicable
  • Act as interface between local Operations market teams and American Express Regulatory Manager (US) advising PAYBACK Operations teams on regulatory and compliance topics
  • Being in close contact with the international Operations teams to consolidate, report, challenge and assure the quality of key performance indicators of all markets, also towards American Express
  • Presenting key performance indicators to management highlighting changes and reasons for developments and deviations
  • University degree in Business, Management or comparable education
  • International experience essential
  • First experience in project management
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite programs
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
