Alexander Rittweger, CEO (Chief Executive Officer)

After completing his studies in business management in Passau and Mannheim, Alexander Rittweger (born 1965) began his career in 1992 working for business consultants Roland Berger & Partners in São Paolo. After two years in Brazil, he went on to work in Frankfurt and Munich before becoming a partner in the consultancy’s office in Paris.

Major achievements of his career include consultancy work for Deutsche Lufthansa AG in the field of strategy and sales. He looked after the Miles & More scheme as part of this work. The success of this frequent flyer programme inspired Mr. Rittweger to launch a cross-sectoral customer loyalty programme for top companies in the commercial and service sectors in Germany. He was the driving force behind this project from the initial idea through the design phase and all the way to implementation. Together with Deutsche Lufthansa AG and Roland Berger, he founded Loyalty Partner GmbH in 1998.

Martin Hollenhorst, CFO (Chief Financial Officer)

After completing his degree in business administration, Martin Hollenhorst (born 1959) worked for six years as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte and Touche in Düsseldorf and Washington D.C. In 1992, he joined the Vossloh Group, where he held various management positions: He was initially responsible for Corporate Finance and Investor Relations of Vossloh AG. In 1996 he was appointed Managing Director of Hegenscheidt MDG GmbH, a company that had been taken over by Vossloh.

Martin Hollenhorst set up his own management consultancy business in the U.S. in 2001, primarily providing consulting services for German-American companies in matters of acquisitions. A year later, the biotechnology company Lion Bioscience AG appointed him to the post of CFO. Before joining Loyalty Partner, Hollenhorst was most recently a member of the board and CFO of Dürr AG, with particular responsibility for restructuring the company’s financial affairs.

In January 2008 Martin Hollenhorst was appointed member of the management board of Loyalty Partner. As CFO (Chief Financial Officer) he is responsible for the finance, legal and purchasing divisions of Loyalty Partner.
